About the Doctor

Harold E. “Ted” Rogers, D.D.S.

Dr. Ted Rogers received his BS from N.C. State University in 1973 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1980. In 1986, he became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.  this award is held by an elite group of less than 5% of all general dentists and requires completion of more than 500 hours of educational courses and passing a rigorous examination.   In 2000, he was honored with a fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry International.

While focused on providing the highest quality care for all his patients, he has remained active in community and state dental health efforts as well as working in support of national and international missions promoting children’s health. He is a Past-President of both the Fourth District of the NC Dental Society, and the NC Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr.Rogers enjoys all the disciplines of dentistry, but has special interests in treating people with complex medical conditions. Another area of interest, sometimes intertwined with medically compromised patients, is the utilization of conscious sedation while performing treatment. Adult and pediatric dental care are part of his growing practice.
