Harold E. “Ted” Rogers, D.D.S.
Dr. Ted Rogers received his BS from N.C. State University in 1973 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1980. In 1986, he became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. This award is held by an elite group of less than 5% of all general dentists and requires completion of more than 500 hours of educational courses and passing a rigorous examination. In 2000, he was honored with a fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry International.
While focused on providing the highest quality care for all his patients, he has remained active in community and state dental health efforts as well as working in support of national and international missions promoting children’s health. He is a Past-President of both the Fourth District of the NC Dental Society, and the NC Academy of General Dentistry.
Oral Health is the Gateway to overall Health and Wellness and the primary goal for all patients of Clayton Comprehensive Dental Care. As a founding member of the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health, Dr. Rogers and his staff educate patients on the relationship between good oral health and overall health of the body.
Dr. Rogers enjoys all the disciplines of dentistry, but has special interests in treating people with complex medical conditions or the medicically compromised patient. Overall health of the patient is the primary goal. Oral conscious sedition is available in cases where the patient's overall health permits.
